Spring brings beautiful flowers to our piece of earth. The understory in our orchard becomes visibly diverse with crimson clover and vetch blooms throughout.

Following the February bloom, the trees begin to form nut buds. It happens amazingly quickly with the almond blossom petals blowing down from the trees and giving our area the closest thing we get to snow.

Throughout the spring and summer, the almonds continue to grow.

During the spring owls begin to build their nests in the owl boxes we place around our orchards. The owls provide natural pest control for us and are a source of entertainment as we watch for the youngsters as they begin to take flight.
