We've had a wet winter here in Hilmar with nearly twice our average rainfall. As a result, we've learned that our annual water allocation from the Turlock Irrigation District will easily meet our full need to grow this crop. What a relief! We've managed through these dry years but it has been challenging to say the least.
The rain has come off and on through the bloom cycle so we're wondering what the set will look like this year. We see the bees working to pollinate and new buds so we are feeling hopeful. To new beginnings! 🙏
